I’ve been considering buying or even building a P320, but heard about the accidental discharge issues. Saw a few YouTube videos that said this was a past issue, but one that recently said it was still going on. Does anyone have any thoughts on this topic? Are they safe to carry? Thanks!

There was a pretty big voluntary recall awhile back. They should be good to go now. Even if you pick up a used one that missed the recall, I'm pretty sure they'll still honor it.

I appreciate the feedback on this. After renting one at the local range, I was completely sold on the P320 even after learning about the issues because I had heard it had been resolved. But, saw a recent video saying they were still having issues and lawsuits were still being opened so, it had me a little worried that I have been missing info. Thanks fellas!

Was this for all P320 caliber models? Wonder if I need to co tact SIG to get mine checked.

Why don't you contact Sig and find out. Google is your friend.

MAC has a video addressing the latest p320 issue and what caused the supposed failure with a statement from Sig.

I love my 320. Still a glock fan and carrier but would trust my life to my 320 any day that ends in y.
