How this was deemed to be OK in the first place is beyond me. We have self-serving, abusive government agencies beefing up their bottom line by stealing money from citizens. As noted in the video, the National Sheriffs' Association has sent a letter to Congress imploring them to KEEP CIVIL ASSET FORFEITURES so that their members can beef up their budgets by stealing money from Americans.
