Something doesnt add up but then again Ive never been in a osprey. In blackhawks the engine controls/levers are in detents in each position. I am sure its the same in all acft for safety reasons. So how did it come out and why was their head up in the cockpit like that? Weird.

I understand that (even though I don't think you can pull a power control lever with it). I just don't know their head was in that area or how the pcl came out of its detent. Just weird to me.
Few remember that one. Coming into D.C. for a demo and went into the drink. I was working at Bell and they were flying examples all over to show Congressman and State Reps. Wasn't a good day for selling them.
I've long been against the Osprey. It's simply an unsafe design. I know I'm not getting in one. Each of us have choices.
FYI the navy just ordered 48 ospreys. They are to replace the COD fixed wing and large delivery helicopter. Their logic; it’s one aircraft that can do both jobs, but doesn’t do either job as well as the existing aircraft. Their words, not mine.
