To me, I find it interesting that this isn't just some simple zip gun epoxied to a boot. If you notice in the footage, this gun is recoiless!! It's actually counter-venting gas to the rear so as to not shear off the boot. That's actually a complicated bit of engineering and not a simple thing to do,...which is what makes this even weirder.
