Ah the land of my yute. I can't believe the scene behind them. Under normal circumstances those streets right there would be bumper to bumper and they are empty. Wow!
That intersection should be packed with cars and people. No way you could have a group riding bikes in the middle of the street.
I think it's like the nature show the world after people. Remove the people and the vegitation takes over fast.
In this case remove the every day foot and vehicle traffic in NYC and remove the cops and the roving opportunistic gangs take over.
Good thing those covid response plans are working out so well

Well they caught one of them. 14 yrs old so he will roll faster than a snowfall downhill but .. so what. With no bail, being a juvenile and reduced sentencing they will all be walking and laughing about it in short order.
Article says there were 50 of them in the total group. Knowing that area well I just can't believe it's so barren that 50 kids on bikes can be in the street. Usually have trouble just walking down the block. Wild times. Glad I'm gone.

It is New York, what did you expect after they took away the police. Wait until these gangs get to see the begining of the movie "Warriors" movie from Feb 1979. Then the mayor dirtbag might just give the police power again.

With Deblasio there large and in charge .. what a mess. NY is always on the edge of nuttiness it is always just barely under some semblance of normalcy and when you get NO leadership .. it just slips off the edge.
