That argument was moot years ago when 2A foundation won in SCOTUS with Heller and McDonald. It's folks like you that perpetuate the idea that it is the "only" one. No, the NRA is not "all" we have, and in fact, if you'd spend more time and effort educating not only yourself, but others, about the other org., we'd be better off, and the NRA would die on the vine while those doing the heavy lifts in the courts would flourish.

Here's some of the Washington State laws, Clyde, and that's where the 2A foundation is headquartered. They can't even do all that well in their own state, so I hardly believe they can do better on a National level.
You'd do well to take your own advice and educate yourself and others properly.
Castle Doctrine No Law
No-Net Loss No Legislation
Right to Carry Confidentiality Provisions Enacted
Right to Carry in Restaurants Partial Ban
Right To Carry Laws Shall Issue
Right To Carry Reciprocity and Recognition Conditional Recognition
Right to Keep & Bear Arms State Constitutional Provisions With Provisions
Washington law prohibits the carrying of any loaded handgun in a vehicle without a concealed pistol license. In addition to obtaining such a license, a person cannot carry a loaded handgun in any vehicle unless:
The handgun is on the licensee's person;
The licensee is within the vehicle at all times the handgun is present; or
The licensee is away from the vehicle and the handgun is locked within the vehicle and concealed from view.
An unloaded handgun kept in a vehicle must be locked within the vehicle and concealed from view.
Washington generally prohibits the possession or transportation of a loaded rifle or shotgun in or on a motor vehicle.
n addition, Washington prohibits any person from carrying, transporting or conveying any loaded firearm in or upon any “non-highway vehicle” except by permit from the director of fish and wildlife. This includes ATVs, dirt bikes, etc. The exception to this law is of course a loaded handgun by a concealed pistol licensee discussed above. The state also prohibits carrying any loaded firearm upon any snowmobile except by permit from the director of fish and wildlife.
And here's a statement from Gottlieb himself trying to make the fact he has no lobbyists into a feature. There was a lot of that done in electronics hardware and software, I guess that's where he learned it.
“As an organization, we don’t use Gucci-loafered lobbyists in Washington, D.C. in $200,000 wardrobes to grease the palms of weak-kneed politicians to vote right,” said Dudley Brown, president of the National Association for Gun Rights, referencing the NRA chief executive’s purported lavish spending. “
Instead, we activate our members to do that lobbying for us and for them. That’s the power in a grassroots lobby and NRA lost that a long time ago.”
So they have no lobbyists at all. Lobbyists is what makes the whole thing happen in D.C. as anyone who's studied politics at all knows. Even the AzCDL has full time lobbyists when the legislature is in session, so they're better equipped to take over than either the 2nd Amendment Foundation or the GOA.
And the GOA has done even worse in their home state so again, they're not in a position to do much of anything on a National level.
