Lol it ain't going to the golf courses. Went out yesterday and it was like golfing on a woven straw welcome mat.

The independent reporters have checked and Ca. and Nv. are still watering their golf courses while shutting off the water to the farmers...

This town is trying to circumvent the water allocation and build a pipeline from the Colorado River to their town. So basically, they are saying "screw you" to those of us down stream who have to abide by the water allocation contracts and laws.

Looks like the old west water wars are about to be reignited.

You forget, no electricity means no shopping for supplies and no gas at the pumps. How many people keep enough fuel on hand to vacate to higher ground? Do you have enough fuel to drive 300 miles? Do you have that much on standby every day? When the electricity goes out, no cell service, no tv (no news), no Emergency Broadcast System, no radio, etc

How long do you wait before bugging out? Or do you bug in?

Yep, this is also true. Some people can survive in the desert for sure, and many have in the past and do now. I am not sure most of us city slickers are up to that task though.
