Interesting, the denial percentage rate really hasn’t changed that much. I thought the percentage might have been slightly higher due to the high interest in many wanting to purchase their first gun. Everytown is dishonest by just focusing on the whole number of denials, instead of representing it against the total number of NICS background checks that were completed.

You simply cant ask in one sentence if you have ever been found mentally ill and then on another line ask ... "what gender you feel like"

The new gender question exists because certain states, like California, have an option on their DL/ID for "non-binary"...so, the federal form has to have that option also. Stupid? Absolutely.

Misleading report? Govt wouldn’t do that.

It’s a helluva a process to even get a report on “ why” the denial.
The individual has to file proper forms to FBI and wait on their
‘Efficient’ process. Then you have to pursue whatever agency/individual that flagged you.
