I went with Medlining Machine Works. Don’t know if one is better than another but, they are a mom and pop shop and I like to support small businesses.

Any resources to navigating the different forms etc? Been a long time since I dealt with this and would like to get some more going sounds like the efile system is working somewhat faster these days. Can you do it all on your own? Or best through a company? Thats what I did back in the day

I sent in my form 4 (individual) for a suppressor September 10th 2019. They they approved it on May 19th 2020. Didn’t get my stamp/suppressor until last weekend July 18th. So, there’s one reference point.

On the brighter side, I e-filed a form 1 for an SBR at the same time, and got the stamp in about a month.

My Form1 suppressor was approved today. I hit submit on 7/23 for a total of 18 days.

It makes no sense that form one is approved so quickly and form four takes a year.

The difference is that form 1’s can be filled electronically. Form 4’s have to be submitted by paper.

I just got my can a little over a week ago.

Submitted mid July 2019. Approved June 30 this year. Didn’t get to the dealer until like Aug 28.

Lol such a joke. Hearing Protection Act would’ve been nice to get rid of this stupidity.

I decided to just go for it and get it done. I did it a couple of weeks ago, and I don’t know if it’ll take longer...but I figure it’s going to sit on their (ATF) desk for months anyway, might as well start the wait while I’m sitting in quarantine.

Such a BS process....how hard is it to cash a check, confirm a background and lick a stamp.....

Got the call today, so not as long as I expected....took about 6 months in total from order to delivery of stamp. Check cashed 4/23/20. Arrived 09/25/20.

Yay, now to outfit it with all the extras so I can go to the range!!! (Really just an optic).

I have eFormed 1 2 SBR’s and 1 SBS. All three were returned in 21-22 days.
This was in April, May, and June.

However I do have two silencers on Form 4’s and it’s only been 60 days, although for the location that they are in jail, they said that they are currently getting the Tax Stamps back for those who filed in May and Early June. Which is putting it at 6-7 months.
