Went to the 54th St and Ray Sam's Club and saw a sign in the window of the old Toys R Us.

Pretty excited to have one that close to my house!

Thats awesome. Since the takeover, they have had a lot more variety of gun stuff in their stores. I cant wait till Scheels comes. I just went to one in Utah and its Sportsmans, Bass Pro, Cabelas, and Dicks all combined under one roof. And they seemed to have a lot of inventory that the other stores were out of.

Nice to have options. But for me, I'm pretty much equidistant from the Chandler and Mesa locations.

I’ve noticed some price hikes in their guns since the bass pro buyout, not sure if it’s just cost of living hike or maybe cause COVID.could be because they didn’t jack the price up during the pandemic, u just couldn’t find it and now they are just catching up but I seen about a $50 jump in a Glock gen 5 and recently the Henry golden boy at 499 instead of the year ago price of 449..probably just cost of living but I sure hope they don’t get rid of their promos they run occasionally

That is good news, I'm a Sportsman's fan. They aren't always the cheapest option, as I've seen a few things for less at Tombstone Tactical. But, they do seem to be working really hard to get stuff like ammo in stock.

Never been to TT myself, but SW has been my go to several times when looking for items when I’ve been out and about, and run in “real quick” to look around.

I noticed the higher prices as well. But I figured they were just selling for MSRP rather than discounting.

Tombstone Tactical isn't too bad - just gets crowded. The last few times I was in there buying stuff I could feel the sales guy's pain.

There was a bit of a line for the gun counter and 90% of everyone standing in line just wanted to finger fornicate everything on the wall. The visible relief when I got there and was like "I will take that" was apparent. Given that store's location it gets a lot of pretty crappy looking people, and is also the only place I have witnessed quite a few people fail the background check - usually followed up with the request they run their buddy or g/fs info (which of course they can't do.) lol

So does anyone know if my Bass Pro/ Cabelas club points can be used at Sportsmans now?

That would be something because seems like Sportsmans has better prices than Cabelas/Bass Pro. I miss all the coupons from Cabelas that used to be good for firearms.

Agreed. The Tucson Sportsmans is way closer to me than the other options and I actually go there a couple times a year.

I think this location is open now. I should have checked while I was at Sam's Club this morning, but I'm dumb.
