New, NEW forums... welcome! (updated for 2025)

Welcome to ArizonaShooting.org!

Join today!

Hello all! Toby here.
Not really new, but haven't posted in many years. 12 or 13 to be exact. I used to be a fairly active member here before I moved to Texas. I still go to AZ every so often and I lurk on the boards once and awhile. I still see a couple of familiar names. Happy new year TO YOU ALL!

Wow a blast from the past. I was an active member of Arizonashooting.com back in the day before it was shut down. I am unsure if this is the run by the same people but I do see some familiar names. I used OCVandal back on the forum but figured I should use an Arizona based ID now. I look forward to contributing to the community.

This is not the "old" forum if that's what you're referring to.

Your account has to exist for a certain period of time and have a certain level of activity before you have access to PM's. Most web forums have a policy similar to that.

Okay , understood, this is my first time on a forum so I apologize for my ignorance. Thank you gentlemen.

No problem! Just stick around, participate and you'll have the ability to PM sooner than you think! Welcome!

Hi all! Just found this site and am mighty impressed! We've lived in AZ now for 5 years, in the NW corner of Mohave Co, and yes--- we are refuges from the Not-So Golden Cali-Horror State. :violin: But fear not--- there isn't a single stitch of anything democRAt in our past! Retired from 30-PLUS years in the construction trades, in one form or another, and we're looking to buy some acreage for our own off-grid fun and private shooting range. Not so much a handgun guy, got a few, but my love (besides my Little Lady) is my rifles, I just love shooting 'em. Looking forward to looking around and getting acquainted. Meanwhile... God Bless America~!!! And God Bless Arizona~!

So, a FUDD from Kalifornistan? Well, just make sure you vote pro 2A candidates and don't Californicate this state please.

Hi all, new to the site and was recommended by a friend. Looking forward to all the knowledge here.

I personally have been in AZ about 9 years now but my family moved here around when AZ became a state. We still have the family property down South from around 1915 where we hunt and shoot and get away from town.

I spent about 10 years in the military so have lived all over the country but am glad to have settled into AZ as my permanent home.

I can personally say that AZ is much better than WA, IL, NY and VT. I also prefer it to GA, SC and FL, though those states weren't too bad.

The only state that I liked about the same as AZ was NH...and a big part of that was it's Libertarian nature, no income tax & no sales tax is what I miss most (not the snow).

Thanks in advance, nice to meet you all.
