So I guess I have to ask: What actually happened to AZS?

I believe it was database corruption. As to backups; I would assume they didn't have them, or they aren't valid. *shrug*

This site and DB is backed up multiple times each day, FYI. Hope to never need it, but it's being done. Servers running it are Linux based, updated and running the most recent version of phpbb.

[mention]admin[/mention] As an infosec guy I also have to hope you’ll keep up with patches, use strong passwords, etc. as phpbb is a popular target for hackers.
