The politicians are trying to say it was a structural failure, but you can see the area where the lightning scarred the wall and the roof above was damaged.

Saw a bit back that a statue of Floyd was defaced in some city. Regardless of your thoughts on the arrest and his death

How does he rate a public statue?

Did he serve the poor? Teach children in under served communities? Feed the homeless? Discover a cure for cancer?

He was a meth head with little redeeming qualities who tried to buy crap with counterfeit money and then resisted arrest. Yes a hero worthy public displays. :roll:
