While i was on the floor assessing wounds and trying to get my dislocated shoulder to stop talking to me 3 hoodrats come over with the rest of the gawkers and right my bike and start to push it away. When I said .. hey wTF they told me they were just going to move it to the side of the road. I had lived in that area, in that same housing project for some 16 years before moving out and I knew if they started walking off with the bike the bike was gone.
If a gun were attached to it not only would I have lost the bike and a gun but I would have armed some sh*t stain who would undoubtedly use it for evil and I just dont need that on my conscience.
I have been wearing OWB in the same place I always carry on my hip but it is kind of in the way of the wife holding on to my sides when she rides with me so I will at some point be making something like this for Bike carry.
I will certainly not look nearly as dashing but a light shirt over top and its easy to get to even if you are mounted.

Mine will be a bit higher up.

I dont know if that one has the lock but a thousand years ago a buddy got one that kind of rested in your palm and there was a thumb lock that would lock the throttle in a certain position. I guess it acted like cruise control.Flash said:https://www.jpcycles.com/product/754-606/keiti-speed-lock-cruise-control?mrkgcl=444&mrkgadid=3308569261&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_term=515301187594_product_type_motorcycles_product_type_handlebars_and_controls_product_ty&utm_campaign=Google+Shopping++Generic+-+Handlebars+and+Controls&product_id=754-606&utm_content=pla&adpos=1o1&creative=278867792795&device=c&matchtype=&network=g&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIqurLn43V4QIVshx9Ch2S4g9kEAQYASABEgIQfvD_BwE

Having a holster of some sort on the bike would allow you to draw from said bike without trying to fight with what ever your wearing to get to gun. I find that drawing from the bike I can reholster and take back control of bike with less risk of loosing control of bike.

I have trouble thinking of many scenarios where shooting from a moving motorcycle is the answer of the day.
I happened to be in Sturgis a few years ago during the big Harley event, and surprisingly I saw quite a few people with firearms strapped to their bikes.
