Will 12 gauge minishells work in my pump shotgun without an adapter? The gun is an old IWI with 18" barrel. I'm thinking of getting some for my wife to use in my 12 gauge when I'm not home and if something happens. I've read that Mossburgs need an adapter but this is a different shotgun. Thanks.

One way to find out....

Is your shotgun based off a Rem 870? The mini shells run in my Tac-14 just fine.

I know they will in a Winchester 1300, I think like you said you’ll just have to try them out. I’m curious to know if they do.

They should work but they may flip around or stack. Go easy and give it a try.

They make my Remington 870 choke something fierce.
But man are they fun in my SxS Baikal and the Miroku OU.
