Anyone know where to get the mini Aguila 12 gauge shells locally? Birdshot, buckshot, whatever.

I watched a video a couple weeks ago about those. It basically said that unless you use the adapter they don't feed consistently.

Would like to hear your feedback.

A buddy just picked up a couple adapters, one for his shockwave and he's going to give me the other for my 10" AOW. Just need to find some shells to try it out but not sure if anyone locally sells them or I just need to order online.

I'll let you know how it works out.

I'm in Tempe but my buddy is NW phx. Where is your shop located and I'll let him know. I'm looking for east valley(ish) myself

Thanks guys! Should be meeting up with someone tomorrow that has some to sell. I'll pass along the info to my buddy so he can pick some up.

Finally got out shooting today. Both my shotgun and the shockwave functioned flawlessly with the adapter in place. I feel like the minishells actually make the gun usable. I don't shoot it all that often because even birdshot is pretty hard on the hand with the full size loads but with the minishells the buckshot and slugs aren't bad at all. And I can fit 5+1 instead of the normal 3+1 which is cool.

We also ran some shells through the shockwave with the adapter (accidentally) and as long as you work the action at a normal/quick pace there are no issues feeding.

Federal is now making them. I picked up a box of slugs and a box of shot to try them out. Seemed to work fine and They are also cheaper then what I have seen the Aguila shells go for. I got mine at Sportsman's.
