Apparently a murder was committed last fall involving one of these missing machine guns.

Didn't the guy in the shoot out on the 17 a few months ago have an M4 that came from MCSO?

They have had several missing guns for years...the recent I-17 shootout is just putting the spotlight on it again.

so who writes the atf letters when their gun deals go south. ."literally", just saying, they had to be on board with that fiasco

oh well, they be special, right.

Agencies are still dumb enough to think the car rack can "secure" the gun and allow officers to leave weapons in patrol vehicle while unattended.
It was a huge fight with my last agency over this. In the end I lost the argument and they are still leaving patrol rifles in cars when off duty.

Were the guns stolen from car racks, or were they "liberated" by MCSO employees and sold for profit? I don't know; I'm just asking. Seems like a lot of them to have been stolen one at a time.

yet we allow these so called LEOS to police us when they cannot police their own, food for thought, ..............we all have ideas about this, and how it came about, ................................probably most of our thoughts are fact, as well as possibilities, no one is above the LAW
