That was the story on Feb 22.
He said he did it to help the girls get out of the cold by buying all their cookies.

2 days later the headline is:

Man Who Bought Cookies is Arrested

Turns out he is a drug dealer... Duh... the obvious joke was he must have had some serious munchies when he bought the cookies.

Turns out that he is actually a high level drug importer.

He got his 15 minutes of fame being a nice guy.
Now he gets another 15 minutes for being a douche drug dealer.

I'll bet there are quite a few dads that end up buying out the cookies the kid thought they could sell..

I used to buy them back before the girls and their supervisors were too lazy to go door to door. Now they just stand around blocking grocery store doors and talk while the parents do all the work. Not to mention the prices have skyrocketed and the box sizes have shrunk.

LOL, as the father of 4 daughters, who did time with the girly scouts, and sold cookies, if they didn't hustle and get rid of them, they themselves had to buy them, ole dad did not bale them out.

now the grandkids thats something esle, ole gal dropped the edict, of how it would be and hehehe, i was handing out cookies to employees and clients,
you just have to know which battles to fight, and which battles to surrender right off to survive 46 years of the same old dragon lady

My daughter never had a problem making her quota. I simply announced they were for sale at formation and my Marines snapped them up. :D

I recently bought a couple boxes of thin mints from a Girl Scout down the street as she was hustling them from a table set up along side the road instead of the customary supermarket ambush.

They were doing a brisk amount of sales at the crossroads show this last weekend. They have a wagon full of assorted cookies they roll up one isle and down the other. I love the nutter butter (do si do) ones and usually get a couple boxes of them every year.

If they were all Thin Mints I can totally understand....or those chocolate/coconut ones.

Thin mints and tagalongs kept cold are a good choice as well.
