I was speaking with one of our vendors, and the lasers that they are using are NOT your garden variety laser pointers, but industrial grade products that can blind you permanently and quickly.

It's time to petition the governor to put lasers in the same class as firearms and knives as deadly weapons. That would make aiming them at someone aggravated assault and a justified use of deadly force in response.

That's also what I heard, and they're coming out of China too of course. Some idiots have been aiming them at airplanes and helicopters too, and causing eye damage to the air crew.
