Least expensive dog euthanasia

What is the least expensive (professional) avenue to euthanize a dog? She's old, it's time.

Sorry you have to deal with this. There are probably some services in your area that will come to you, and they should advertise their prices. There is the option to do it yourself, but that’s never easy.

Do you have a vet already? If not, your local Petsmart/PetCo can handle it and cremation if you choose to go that route.

When I had to do this, I simply visited a number of local vet offices and inquired as to the price. It is unfortunately very common, and every vet I visited was able to provide the service. I found one in Sun City that was the most affordable, perhaps because so many folks there are on fixed incomes. But mostly it was because the price was much cheaper if you take your dog with you afterwards for disposal. I opted for that because I wanted to bury mine here on our acre property, which I did. Before every rainy season I sprinkle some wild flower seeds from Home Depot over where they lay, and it looks really beautiful during that part of the year.
