L.A. Sheriff removed as head of emergency operations over gun shop reversal

The county board of supervisors claims it was actually already considering this due to the fires of 2018.

Riiiiiiiiiggggghhhht.

But soon the sheriff responded to the threats of personal law suits against him for his illegal order to shutter the gun shops and reversed himself,...well golly,...NOW the board of supervisors suddenly decides he's not cut out for the job.

I doubt that the LA County Board of Supervisors are a bunch of 2A champions. I suspect it was political infighting, and that they will appoint a replacement who hates guns and gun owners as much as or more than Villanueva does.

How is this in the news again? He "closed" them about two weeks ago and then the backlash came and they rescinded the order pretty much the same day.
