This again? Why doesn't someone just get out there and pick up the pallets of bricks? It doesn't seem like it would take too long for a couple of good Samaritans with a truck and a forklift.

Because if you take it upon yourself to try and insure that personal and public property isn't destroyed or attempt to help in any way to protect the local citizenry from danger and possible injury

You might be right. They could say that removing them was incitement of violence kind of like carrying a gun in public is considered to be by these lunatics. They would do some mental gymnastics to say the bricks gave a voice to the angry oppressed and marginalized people, and that taking away their "voice" was an act of violence and white supremacy or some shit like that.

I hate to see communities getting ripped apart by people that I would consider to be actual domestic terrorists. The one good thing that could come out of it is more 2A support and better outcomes in the 2022 elections.

The court has reconvened to consider a request from the jury to have access to all video evidence for them to review independently on their own as much as they might like.

In the course of considering that, a debate and argument over the issue of the drone video withheld from the defense erupted. The defense rips the prosecution for providing them a copy of the video that was purposely degraded to be useless, and laid out the train of custody of that video, which pretty convincingly seems to indicate that the prosecution did so with malice.

I just watched (on Fox) the judge telling the prosecutors something like, "I have been warning you repeatedly that eventually there will be a price to pay for this sort of conduct, and yet now this comes up. Well, we have come this far; we might as well let it play out and see what happens."

That inclines me to believe that if the verdict is anything other than straight not guilty, the judge will pull that motion to dismiss with prejudice out of his back pocket, and throw the case out. It struck me as a pretty strong hint. It gladdened my heart to hear him talk like that.

me thinks this is up in the air, probably at least a couple hold outs on the panel, plants maybe, hell who knows as noted earlier, one never knows how some think, and just one little tid bit can or will foul up the process. been on a couple panels, and have seen regular folk, realize what power they have over someone and want to relish in their ability to wield it, just life i guess.

I know that the jurors are thinking about the fact that their decision may mean a destroyed city but .. I am pretty surprised we are into day 3 and nothing

I think the jurors are worried about their names and addresses being published if they come back with a not guilty verdict.
Their houses would be burned down by all the peaceful protesters.
When BLM is outside the courthouse yelling and screaming where the jurors can hear them , it has to be intimidating to them.
