Kel-Tec KSG yay or nay

For some reason I really like the ksg. I honestly haven’t held one yet. I think it the round capacity and the appearance of a short barrel. I’m kicking round the idea of getting one, but have no experience with one. I just read the post about the ksg accident and I really don’t want to have a lobster claw for a hand. Lol
What are you thoughts on this.

I don’t own one but have shot one a few times. For me it appeared to be a cool idea but not something I would use as a duty weapon. Perhaps this was a trigger time issue (I have way more 870 time). That being said if you want it and can afford it, do it

I would use it in a heartbeat for duty. Much quicker to flip the switch to choose than upload and download for desired shell in 870, much. As good as the 870 is it has the 870 beat on that alone

How do you deal with a malf, or worse..an actual jammed shell?

I have not had either yet. As far as malfunction you can access everything from beneath rather than the traditional side

I always wondered how much the dang thing weighed. And with most police depts okay with AR15s now it seems like it has a very small market.

I have a KS7 it’s been flawless. A friend has a KSG it runs just as good.
