Well, somebody is trying very hard, spending a lot of money, to keep Kari Lake from being governor. That makes me very suspicious. As of now, I plan to vote for her just because Bill Kristol really really doesn't want me to.

So far Sinema has been better than McStain, yep she can change with the political winds, but she saved our ass by not voting to spend us into oblivion and not going along on eliminating the filibuster.
Who knows what Kari Lake will do once in office, but she will be an absolute one-termer if she doesn't work on some of the statements she made. We already know how the media will treat her, imagine if they can also say she was totally dishonest to get into office.

As usual the Republicans run too many candidates with no solidarity behind one good electable one. I don't trust Kari Lake, i think she will win the primary because of the name recognition. She talks a good game for now. Time will tell if she walks the walk. I will have to plug my nose and vote for her against the Hobbit in November.
Sinema is a sheep in sheep's clothing. She may have some common sense, but she is positioning herself for a lifetime in the senate and is being very careful not to ruffle any feathers in this first term. Those two notable votes were good, but she voted along party lines on almost every other issue. Incumbents almost always get re-elected if they don't totally screw the pooch. She is no friend to the gun community and certainly not the best one for the job. We really needed stronger opposition to the Mark Kelly as he will be the one that really causes issues in the future. Doesnt look like we have a strong candidate to take out the spaceman.

Five Republican candidates for governor right now: Kari Lake, Matt Salmon, Steve Gaynor, Karrin Taylor Robson, and Jorge Rivas. Matt Salmon is probably the favorite in the primary, because he has a long track record and name recognition. However, he has been in DC enough that he may have become a swamp creature. He is behind some of the hit advertisements against Kari Lake, which disappoints me. Smacks of dirty tricks. Apparently, he is pissed off that Trump endorsed her instead of him.h8pvmnt said:

I actually like Matt Salmon, but it is disappointing if he is behind the hit adds but that is politics. Salmon did what he said he would in congress, hes a long time AZ guy, 2A supporter conservative guy. I doubt anyone can spend time in Washington without it affecting his integrity so that is an issue. I don't know if he has enough support to win the primary. Polls are all over the place but last one i saw put his numbers really low. All of them are better than the Hobbit.
Salmon could stick his neck out during the run-up. Firm statements on key subjects, guns, wall. He has taken a nice guy political position that is much easier to back off from, should he win, than anything Kari Lake has stated.
We need more take names & kick-ass folks to fix all this crap we are in, rather than another nice guy/gal.
I don't feel comfortable with a "nice guy", not with how deep the crap has become in the past year.

I am still surprised Jan Brewer isn't supporting Kari Lake.

You guys shouldnt fall for the phuktard salmon. His bullshit campaign for gov in 02, which my entire family worked on in some capacity was as ass backwards and feckless as you can get. He refused to actually campaign thinking he was to just be granted the position. He phucked

Robson builds houses and communities. That is where some of her money comes from, I am sure.
