Dislike... Anyone thinking about voting 3rd party this go around needs to rethink their priorities. There's so much on the line right now. My hope is that we can deliver such a defeat to the Democratic Party this election that they have to come back toward the center and deradicalize, but that won't happen if we divide the vote.

I'm all for 3rd party candidates, but not so much with our existing election system.

Ah,...but consider,...as the new minority party, he now is due a seat on every committee. Boom,...instant influence inflation.

Says he's now a libertarian. Guess he wasn't getting anywhere as an Independent.

He stands no chance whatsoever of getting anywhere with this thing.

Right on!!

It seems the reasoning so far has nothing to do with this guy but that the focus must remain on keeping the GOP in power? The logic is that a third party cannot win and will take votes from the GOP? Here is the thing... The Dems don't have a strong candidate or a united platform. The idea of a third party candidate might seem risky but the majority have issues with both party's and are sick of it. Think the objective of Rep and Dems are really different? I don't. I don't think Trump respects or protects the Constitution. I don't think Trump has my best interests in mind. I also don't feel that way about Biden. A third party candidate might be a great option right now but we have to get past this idea that a third party candidate cannot win. With that mentality, a third party candidate will never win. I appreciate your opinions.

The Republican Party definitely has it's problems. The problems are just drastically less of a dumpster fire than those of the Democrats. It really comes down to picking the lesser evil, unfortunately. I understand your point, and I too welcome the idea of a 3rd party candidate, but unless they're poling high, it's not worth taking the chance for me. You're right. The Dems don't have a strong candidate, but the people rising up against Trump would vote for Mister Potato Head if that's what they thought would get Trump out of office.

If we had a ranked voting system in the US, I believe we would almost instantly see our first 3rd party president. That would really help those candidates in between to shine, but it may have other consequences I'm unaware of. I'm just not that familiar with it, but it sounds intriguing.

Hate him and one eye Dan Crenshaw both immensely. I will not vote for either for president, especially Crenshaw. Patch is another McShitstain in the making, mark my words.

For those who are saying both parties are the same thing, I have a question of two.

If you're right, how come no Republicans voted for Obamacare? Not one.

If you're right, how come no Republicans voted for abuse of power in the impeachment hearings?

If you're right, how come no republicans voted for obstruction of congress in the impeachment hearings?

Problem with both parties is that they are filled with co ck suckers, wife beaters, cheaters, pedophiles and so on. Very few make it without having something in their closet or are in the closet themselves. There are companies that research people and watch places where these types go. Sometimes owners of these establishments are themselves caught which leads to cameras being installed inside and sometimes even little private rooms are filled with cameras so certain people can be photographed in a compromising position. The there is the cia and the nsa that do the same thing but have access to their e-mails, phones car tracking systems and so on. So if you like to suck bones you better be out or you will be owned when you run for office. Or if you rise to CEO or COO status of a major corporation chances are they already have something on you and half the board. And if you are a good guy there are really good computer hackers that can do things and then they own you.

Once they have something then all of the sudden a McShitstain or even a Flake who is in our party sides with demoncrats on something like repealing the affordable care act. Then when they need a couple votes here is that nice photo of you with the big black bone in your backside and you vote this way on this bill or you turn against your party.

Funny thing is there is a movie called Outed on the gay democrats, he was offered every name of every know homo republican and he declined the offer.

Why would someone like Amash want to run in this important of an election? Maybe he is owned and was told to do it to hopefully siphon off a million votes or so from the never Trump crowd. People have no clue how the world really works.

Its a false illusion to keep republicans and democrats at each other throats and make us believe we have a say when we have none. That how filth like McStain lasted so long. Republicans may not have voted for obama care but it was a republican that voted with dems to keep it in place. One vote kept it in place and if dems get back in control they can just reactivate the damn thing.

I'm a card carrying libertarian party member.

I will NOT let any dem control any levers of power if I can do it.

I usually vote for Libertarian party members in local and state elections. Every time I voted for them in national elections I ended up with statist dickhead democrats.

This election I am holding my nose to do my part to crush the media and the rabid TDS infected left.

Seriously?

You truly believe the Democrats and Republicans sit down and decide who's going to vote on what to promote an illusion?

I hope you're kidding.

Yes I do believe they work together for the agenda which is a one world government where they all have a seat at the table. We serve them in that world. Hell we are already in the UN and they will be the body that governs if we don't pull out and collapse it. Most people in this country are asleep and can't realize what is going on right in front of their faces including you. Look at how much freedom we have lost over that 9/11 fraud. Every phone call is listened to, every e-mail, cameras everywhere, secret courts. Little by little until they make the gun grab and it is all over. At least Republicans haven't given in on gun control yet but with dems in control someday it will only take a couple votes from our side and they are gone. The Patriot Act is a freedom destroying law that spies on us and both parties cheered when they passed it, that should tell you right there they are in on it together. Their goal is to deliver us to a world government and they will help rule us, sad thing is that when this happens they will reduce world population down to 500,000,000 to keep us manageable.

Hell in 2012 we were hoping for Mitt Romney for president and look what a piece of shit he turned out to be, you believe he is not in bed with democrats?

I'm with you except for one thing, you think Republicans really back your 2A rights? I still go back to what Trump got caught on camera regarding taking guns and worry about due process later. He is just using 2A people to fight his battles by rallying them up. When it comes down to it, he and the Republicans will turn on you too. I get the logic that they are the best option but are they? We can do better. Look at what the Tea Party did with the GOP.
