Lol you act as if in this market people have much of a choice. I make decent money but was only pre-qualified for only so much. Having a townhome made more sense at the moment and was looking to keep it as a rental property for down the road.

Most homes built all have some sort of HOA included with them as part of the development.

Of course I don't like it but the best you can do is be involved and serve on your board or vote at meetings.

Change what rules? He's talking about having thing go back to how they were prior to the new president issuing edicts.

18 years ago, we had a few tyrants on the HOA board. Bunch of residents got together and voted them all out.

We've now gone 17 years with no tyrants at all.

Friend of mine, guy I shoot with every week, got himself elected President of his HOA years ago because of this. He's still President and all is well.

It's not very hard to get rid of the aholes.
