Newsflash. We have more cases because we have more testing. That's it. There is no 'surge'. You increase testing 4,000%, you're going to see a jump in the number of cases.
Here is the reality about COVID-19:
1. You have already had it.
2. You currently have it...
3. ...or you are going to get it.
That is it. No amount of wearing a useless mask in public is going to change that. The Center for Disease Control (CDC) knows this as does the the World Health Organization (WHO) - except the WHO is willing to say it.
4. COVID-19 is nowhere near as deadly as the common flu that typically, no one has been concerned about.
If you are in the risk group, older, with more comorbidity factors - stay away from people and wear a mask when you're out and about. If you're not in that group and you can avoid it, stay away from those you care about in the previous group.
5. Never get in the van until you see the candy.
