This is what the ignorant people, non gun owners and especially fudds (as they should know better), who have no problem with the background check currently in place or support the firearms/ammunition universal background checks never realize.

The .gov can turn the spigot off because they have complete control over it.
They could do this for weeks while claiming some technical issue and once the firearm UBC law and then ammunition UBC is in place they could shield their behavior behind it saying it is illegal to bypass "the system".

f*** background checks, f*** paper trails on private property, and f*** them for coveting power they should never have.
And especially f*** the "I support the 2A, but..." people.

I know 2 people who were erroneously denied but it cleared up after awhile, seems thats how it works today.
