You may have heard about Merck's new Covid drug, Molnupiravir, which taken twice a day for 5 days is expected to be the next best Covid treatment to prevent advancement of the affliction when caught early. It is expected to become available soon before the end of the year.
I decided delve into it and it's manufacturers to see what I could see, before all the crap everyone begins to say about it, whether accurate or not.
Unlike the so-called "vaccines" being pushed on us, there appears to be a greater openness of the exact chemical and biological processes this drug uses to achieve its affects, and can be found on Wikipedia. But not relying merely on that, I also tried to dig up the earliest reports about its development. I regret to say that, while the openness about how the drug works is refreshing and would normally be reassuring,...instead poses serious concerns.
In a nutshell, Molnupiravir works by planting molecules in the virus’s RNA genetic material that then trigger a cascade of mutations, which ultimately kill it. This is called lethal mutagenesis.
First concern;...are these mutations all predictable and not potentially detrimental and potentially causing an even worse and deadlier virus? Great if they all only lead to the virus' death,...but it only takes one nasty mutation to become a holocaust.
2nd Concern;...A potential problem with Molnupiravir is that tests on bacteria show that it can cause mutations in the DNA of human patients. Some mutagenic drugs can increase the chance of someone developing cancer. Only long-term trials can answer whether such will ever occur with Molnupiravir. But those will not happen because of this emergency.
But the good news is this;...if Molnupiravir does not create a new super virus, or alter your DNA or give you cancer,...it allows that your immune system will gain anti-bodies against Covid, providing you superior long-term protection these "vaccines" our overlords are pushing on us simply can't provide.
Oh, and by the way, Merck admits their price point for the drug is 40x above its cost. I don't yet know what that cost is. However, they have already made agreements with India and other countries to provide Molnupiravir at barely above cost. So,...if you decide you want it,...best to try and get it from India.
UPDATE: Actually, I just found where the U.S. Dept of Health & Human Services has pledged to buy $1.2 billion dollars worth of 1.7 million 5-day courses,...which calculates out to $70.58 per pill, or $705.80 for the 5 day prescription.
