[/size]Well, we have 20 people that are assisting in our effort to reopen BLM land closed to shooting.

This is not land closed for fire season, it is land closed due to BLM constructed ranges, which are also closed for fire season.

We will be meeting on July 5th, trying to peg start time to 1 or 1:30 to give time folks for lunch and make sure our room is available.

I will have an email out with time and location along with a copy of our pre-meeting presentation at the latest Monday morning.

I parrot RJ's comments. Thanks to everyone who attended and a special thanks to those who used Zoom remotely for their patients with the problems we had with it.

We will try to distill the comments and get an email out to all those involved. One of the main ideas was to get involved with our local representatives to get them involved, more on this with the ideas and comments raised at the meeting.

Sorry I missed this but work had me running sideways most of the day with yesterday being like another Monday with this short week

Apologies for missing this - but had a critical client meeting that afternoon that I could not bail on... Please let me know if there will be a follow-up. I'd like to be involved as I can.

Didn’t see this until today but good on your for getting this going. Your issues mirror mine with these new ranges, particularly the church camp road area that I frequented quite a bit.
  • It took about two years of closures before they were opened.
  • They took away so many spots along that road and consolidated into just one area.
  • There was originally supposed to be another 25 yard pistol area that got nixed in the final buildout.
  • Can’t set up our own targets.
  • Just recently found out that they’re all closed during fire season.
That’s just what I can think of at this moment.

Could have put the millions of dollars they probably budgeted for these project to better use and paid someone a couple hundred bucks a quarter to haul away trash and do some grading.
