I live just don the road from the C2 in Tempe.
Nice to be able to shoot a couple of handguns in the AC.

If I get a hankering to shoot a rifle or to lob 570gr of lead downrange or shoot blackpowder I'll hit up Rio Salado.

Only accidentally popped a few BP 45c/38spcl rounds. Makes the whole bay a "bit" hazy for a couple of minutes.

they were nice enough years ago to let me "unload" my flintlock after a javalina hunt.

anything wrong with ted's shooting range?

I moved my whole squad (12 people) out of there and into a squad at C2 Tempe around 7 years ago.

We won't be going back.

I won't be going back either. They are the most unfriendly place I have shot. I brought a newbie there and left embarrassed that I did. My advice is to avoid them.

Not a single mention of Caswells..good. Started going there on 08, now it is just poorly maintained bordering on sh*thole. Add to that the guy with the heavy english accent is by far the biggest asshole one is likely to encounter. Joined a C2 squad and it was like a suite at the Ritz compared to motel 6 stay away from caswells until they spend some big money on the facility.

That wasn't the case when I did my CCW course there a few "many" years back. I only go there for FFL transfers are I'm only 15 minutes away from them. I only go to Rio right now, and when I feel like shooting gongs, I drive to my old town (Casa Grande).
