Now this video is NOT of guns being stolen. In fact, it is simply an opportunistic smash and grab on congested inner city traffic in San Francisco.

But,...if thieves are getting this brazen and stupid,...just try to imagine what could happen if your AK or Glock just happens to be visible in the back window of your hatchback commuter car or similar vehicle. These guys are showing how quickly it can happen, even if you aren't leaving stuff unattended with your windows down.

San Francisco on he approach to the bridge. What a surprise.

I'd say they had already seen something in the back that they wanted to steal.

They got about $7K worth of camera gear in the bag. The perps followed them after noticing that they were real-estate photographers.

SF move, these guys know that nobody cares and also know that nobody including the police and courts will do anything. People, that is criminals in a lot of other places like Phoenix would have to think twice before pulling that, reasons are obvious.

Tinted windows help in two ways.

One, limits visibility inside.
Two, helps keep glass in place once shattered.

Tinted windows in cali cause cancer🤷‍♂️

Haha! Seems like a case of situational awareness. Like others have said, if they got as far as breaking the back window, I'd have reversed & made a speed bump of them.
