And the Dems say

It was not helpful when Fox Griffin reporter on 2 different on air occasions said some pretty damaging things, those get said daily, but not on Fox!

A Must Watch
Somebody had already posted this on the forum somewhere, I remembered the title but didn’t get around to watching till now

According to this article, poll respondents who support Trump are twice as likely to be dishonest and misleading about their actual support for Trump, indicating poll numbers for Trump may actually be 10% higher than reported.

https://tennesseestar.com/2020/09/06/exclusive-pollster-explains-his-finding-that-10-percent-of-trump-supporters-lie-on-surveys/

The six leading reasons respondents gave for misleading phone pollsters were:

Lack of trust in phone polls as truly being anonymous;
Apprehension to associate their phone numbers with recorded responses;
Fear that their responses will become public in some manner;
Fear of reprisal and related detrimental impact to their financial, social and family lives should their political opinions become publicly known.
General dislike of phone polls; and
Malicious intent to mislead polls due to general distrust of media and political pundits—although this was a sentiment expressed by only a few of the respondents.

2020 pollsters haunted by 2016 failures, Bradley-Effect at play with Trump

Litman’s report comes on the heels of the Aug. 16 article “‘Hidden’ Trump Voters Exist. But How Much Impact Will They Have?” by New York Times reporter Jeremy W. Peters. In the article, Peters spoke to pollsters and political operatives about the phenomenon that still haunts those who predicted former first lady Hillary Clinton would beat the New York City developer in 2016.

David Winston, a GOP pollster, said to Peters that shy Trump voters exist.

“The idea that people lie, it’s an interesting theory, and it’s not like it’s completely off-the-wall,” said David Winston, a pollster who works with congressional Republicans. “But it’s obviously a very complicated thing to try to prove because what do you do? Ask them, ‘Are you lying?’”

Mr. Winston said that many proponents of the theory about hidden Trump voters rely on what is known as the Bradley effect, named after Tom Bradley, the former mayor of Los Angeles who lost the 1982 California governor’s race despite polling consistently ahead of his white opponent.

The so-called Bradley Effect is another one of the ghosts that continue to haunt U.S. political polling. Democrat Bradley was running against Republican C. George Deukmejian Jr. Pundits said the polls were wrong, because white voters were either afraid to admit they were not voting for the black candidate or they were trying impress the poll taker.

In 2016, pollsters knew there was an aversion to admitting one’s support for Trump, but in the mainstream polls, this was dismissed.

In his role as a consultant and crafter of the 2016 Breitbart-Gravis polls, legendary pollster Patrick H. Caddell included attitudinal questions about the economy’s direction or bringing more Syrian refugees into the U.S. When Caddell then cross-tabbed responses of Clinton supporters with Clinton’s policies, he determined that at least a fifth of Clinton’s supporters agreed with Trump and would vote for him.

I hate these doom porn articles. There really isn't any solutions or ways to counter it.

Western rifle shooters is like that non stop. Especially when he had the comments section.

We all know what these assholes are going to do. We need to ask ourselves if and how we are going to stop them.

Well right at this point, Trumps odds just went to 50% down from 70% in my opinion. This Woodward sh!t is a disaster. Why the hell does he think he can take interviews from these left wing cack suckers and think that they won't spin whatever he says to make him look as bad as possible. The other suckers and losers thing was totally made up, but this is on tape. He really stepped on his dick this time. This one has legs, and they're going to play it to the hilt; claiming he personally killed tens of thousands of Americans. Here's the spin, and it's going to work and cost him votes.

I personally dont think the Woodward revelations are that devastating .. actually .. I dont think they are at all hurtful. JMHO

There would have been no benefit to running about screaming the sky is falling and in my estimation a good leader WOULD try and insulate the people he is leading from more information than they need.

When I look at the reactions of some of the local leaders like Cuomo and others .. I just think they looked like well ... Wussies running around in panic mode. I thought their behavior was and is UN leader like.

In the end .. it was a virus and nothing he did or said was going to make that big a difference. Acts of god are not something men can control .. they can just ride them out and regroup.

I was in Manhattan the day the trade buildings came down. More than 3000 people died .. I knew one guy in passing only because he ran past the place I was working while we were outside. Didnt know him personally but one of my crew did. Wouldnt have known one person who died and didnt know anyone that was affected if it werent for that chance encounter.

How many people here on this board actually KNOW anyone who got sick or died from the virus? I tend to stay to myself now and live in a Retirement community chock full of old people and I know one other person besides the wife and I who got wuhan and no one died.

Sure for people who had family and friends die .. it was traumatic and my heart goes out to them but in the larger scheme of population vs deaths .. it wasn't a giant event. Hell .. I got the virus and it sucked and lead to follow up complications that had me bed ridden for about 6 weeks and I aint mad at him.

Except for a VERY few spots in the world. No one really handled it any better than we did. You cant fight a virus. What was going to pass was going to pass.

Spain, Germany, England, Greece .. if someone had a plan it didnt show so what Rabbit was trump supposed to pull out of his Arse.

Gayle King and Joy whatever are shills .. noone that didn't already hate trump listens to them. They are not turning minds ..they are just playing to their audience.

I wish he was even stronger in his resolve to not let it destroy lives and the economy. Where the left thinks he didn't "nanny" enough I think he wasnt more resolute in saying .. hey people are going to get sick and people are going to die but we cant destroy what was to that point the best economy we had seen in some 40 years.

For me it was a ding on trump but not because he didnt do more to close the country but he didnt do enough to keep it open.

For every 1 older person or person with preexisting conditions that died .. 100 people lost their livelihoods. Woodward dont mean crap. Been some 10 books out in the last year about Trump ..

I think the Cohen Book has Trump officiating at a Satanic ritual sacrifice ...

Re the Woodward thing, I heard one of the libtwits saying something along the lines of "Trump is such a hypocrite. Trump's whole MO is to instill panic, like he is doing with the riots. He wants his base to be in a constant state of panic, like the world is going to end if the Democrats win the election."

So, "in his own words," he says "I don't want people to panic," which proves that he wants people to panic. Huh?

I wonder what Woodward and the libs would have said if Trump had said, "I really want people to panic."

Heads, he loses; tails, the libs win. Yeah, big scandal.

I expect to see one of these "game-changing blockbusters" every day between now and the election. He hates the troops; he loves the virus; a hag who accused him of rape is suing him for libel because he said you can tell she is lying because she is ugly as a bucket of worms and he only bangs hot women. Tomorrow it will be he wants to ban fracking or he colluded with Botswana to spy on Kamala Harris. Or something. Their hope is that every day there will be a couple of thousand people who (a) are so dumb that they will actually believe that crap, and (2) will sign a ballot that a Community Vote-Harvester has filled in for them.

All indicators are moving in the right direction, so time to prepare for the liberal riots and make sure you vote.

Been watching what's going on in Pennsylvania and Florida. Things are looking up!!

At least if/when the riots start after the election there is no reason not to slam down hard. Won't have to worry about hurt feelings

Expect Democrat Shenanigans, But Don’t Panic

The opinions expressed by columnists are their own and do not necessarily represent the views of Townhall.com.

The media is filled with stories about how the Democrats are planning to refuse to accept Donald Trump’s impending victory, with speculation about cheating, lawsuits, and the odd military coup. Leaving aside the bizarre notion that our troops are eager to risk their lives to kill their friends and family for the benefit of the liberal establishment and the military-industrial complex – which the Democrats have suddenly embraced as something awesome – in order to impose that creepy old weirdo from the basement upon America, the challenges are real but they are also overblown.

Don’t panic. Prepare. Work to get out the patriotic American vote. If we’re ready maybe this won’t descend into the chaos I describe in my novel/unintended documentary People's Republic.

Now, they will cheat. That’s baked in, and they are fully committed to it. That’s why they hate hate hate voter ID – it’s harder to cheat when you have to prove who you are. Voting-by-mail gets around that and offers all sorts of opportunities for mischief. They fully intend to try to leverage voting by mail to 1) get China virus paranoids and their usual lay-about voters to vote instead of just sitting home watching “Judge Judy,” and 2) manufacture the necessary votes to swing the election. The turnout issue is important to them because all the numbskulls driving their cars alone with masks on are all liberal. The Dems could have gone with explaining that going to vote for Biden confers immunity, just like rioting, but whatever. Now, the cheating aspect is another issue, but how great an impact cheating might have is open to question.

Vote-by-mail is a Democrat thing, and it is generally Democrat states where it is happening. Take California, please. The Golden State, whose Democrat leadership recently bowed to pressure from the pervert lobby to lighten up on pedophiles, seems intent on mailing a ballot to every Tom, Dick, and – since Harry’s a liberal – Harry, Harry, Harry, and Harry. This could be a problem in some of the state’s contested House races, though Rep. Mike Garcia crushed the heiress to that icky throuple-having congresstramp in a special election earlier this year that was mostly by mail. Luckily, it’s not a problem in the presidential contest. Gee, Biden got 70 percent instead of 60 percent in Cali, so instead of 55 electoral votes, Biden gets 55 electoral votes.

It is an issue in battleground states, like Michigan, Pennsylvania, and possibly Wisconsin, if the Democrats manage to remember that it exists this time around. The simple idea is to make up any deficit in the in-person voting tallies by coming up with ballots out of the blue cities to overturn the heavy red rural vote. But remember, there are time limits and procedures and we Republicans do have poll and count watchers (consider volunteering!). Yes, they will try to find some Hawaiian judge to rule that a guy in Ann Arbor who is not allowed to vote on November 25th is being cruelly deprived of his human rights, but we have lawyers too. In Iowa, we just disqualified thousands of shady ballots. We need to be aware of the points of vulnerability in the process, and we need to watch those kill zones like the soaring hawks of justice we are.

Pundit Larry Schweikart has brought up the possibility that vote-by-mail is a giant boomerang that could clobber the Dems. The disqualification rate for mail-in ballots is quite high compared to regular voting. There are timing gates and procedural requirements that can easily lead to a ballot getting tossed. How do I say this delicately? A key constituency within the Democrat Party is stupid people, and stupid people forget to mail their ballots, or lose them, or neglect to put on a stamp, or fail to sign the envelope, or scribble “ME LIKE OLD GUY NOT BAD ORANGE MAN” next to Grandpa Badfinger’s name instead of filling in the oval, or roll up some weed in the ballot and smoke it. Remember hanging chads? In 2000, Democrats put their chips on people who could not figure out how to punch a hole in a piece of construction paper. Going all-in on dummies is risky.

Ballot harvesting is one way they can try to address the deficiencies of the mental defectives who make up so much of the Democrat Party, but remember that it is illegal in most places. In California, the GOP is going to do it too this time – not because we Republicans are too stupid to vote right but because most of us are busy with jobs.

The best thing for us is to ensure our people go out and vote in-person. We’re trying to get a lot of new voters this time – folks who realize that Biden has them, their faith, their guns, and their trucks in the crosshairs – and the easiest way to ensure a vote is counted is to get them to walk into polling place and do their thing in person. Moreover, a huge election night lead provides a psychological barricade against the “count until we win” strategy. It makes the cheating look like cheating, which will be important because every media outlet will be assuring us that Trump’s victory is really a defeat. By the way, count on the networks refusing to project a winner election night no matter how badly Biden loses.

There will be other antics, like lawsuits, elector games, and no concession by Biden, who is likely to go down in history as a thinner but equally creepy Al Gore, forever wandering around his backyard insisting that the squirrels address him as “Mr. President.” It will be ugly, but it will be a lot less ugly if the vote is not close, if we deliver these leftist freaks the landslide defeat that they so richly deserve.

So, let’s do that.
