Some are Over thinking it a bit. My rule is i never take money for anything that i am helping a friend or family with. Even if its in the course of my actual business. That way if there not satisfied with what was done well i guess they wont ask for a favor in the future. I have reloaded ammo for my uncle and my father. Not afraid at all, but i do think its better to teach and let someone do it themselves with supervision. That is how i learned from my father in law. Everyone is so worried about perceived liability and being sued. If i am worried about a friend or family member suing me then i need to lose that friend. If your doing it to make a profit then your in business and that's a different situation.

Sad truth is, we live in a litigious society. Even the best of friends/family can turn and sue in an instant. Just watch Judge Judy and see how many family members sue each other. LOL

Forget about your friend coming after you. Maybe it's a friend that would NEVER do that, but if they die, their spouse might bring you to court. I'd be more concerned about a situation like that.
