I’m 63, 4th gen AZ, my grandkids are 6th gen. We were in arrivals to the state in 1873. Both sides of paternal. Maternal sides came here from Oklahoma during the dust bowl. They were just field workers. My great Uncle went from that to the first elected mayor of Tempe.
All this, and I am for the first time, disgusted, with my state, as well as my country.
I used to say there is no better country, so moving was never an option. But give it 4 years of Harris? It’ll be Venezuela here.

I understand and have the very same ideas that you folks are contemplating for awhile now. But honestly, I do love Arizona. The Border hoppers (east west or south) not so much.
Short of "eradicating" the traitors, I really do not have an answer. I suppose this might be the eventuality that Ben Franklin felt when he so passionately tried to keep from a Revolution but was betrayed by England so many times.

being a 5 gen Arizonan, its not about stopping biden its about living my last decade in a free state, the degradation has begun, and the monsoon is here, the move out of cali, oregon, washington, has not really begun in earnest, its an overwhelming move into our state, and with it comes the attitude we don't share (meaning Arizonans). Its been a gradual decline, and many moves have been made to stave it off, about the same Colorado went thru, while i'm not a quitter so to speak, i just don't want to spend what time i have left dealing with not being able to live as i was, Other states perhaps may or may not offer what i'm looking for, may not move, as i own what i have and its paradise, its just the laws will change, much like when we had the ranch and cattle, everything changes, not much ranching left in Az. as times they be a changing

The Majority of America is good people. The big urban centers which is what Phoenix has become are where the problem lies. I don't know where this goes. Living in a less populated state with few or no true urban centers seems to be the best short term solution. I've been in Utah and AZ most of my life. 40 years here. I don't want to leave. I love AZ. I just don't know how we keep the blue wave from ruining it. Lots to the no about. Time to become activists.

Like I said in a previous post .. sure the fed will make changes on your life but its the local flavor, local government and local people that you deal with everyday that really affect your quality of life. I came here basically on a contract .. 16 years later .. here I am. I liked it that much. That is likely to change and it has already changed in my short 16 years more than I would like.

If I have to go back to dealing with the racist, bigoted ahole liberals that judge you before you can speak based on a list of preaproved criteria like I did back in NYC .. I think I gotta move.

I am from NYC, I have a Fine arts Degree, I went to a fine arts College in NYC, I have worked as a designer and with countless other designers for 20 years, I do interior and display design and happen to draw paint and make leather goods, My Daughter is gay and in a gay relationship with the same person for at least 7 years.

I have met, worked with, collaborated with, partied with, drank with and worked for more Gay people than you are likely to meet in the rest of your life. I have discussed relationship issues with gay friends, attended the village gay parade and actually worked gay designer networking events.

I am the guy that has no problem saying a man is attractive or telling you you should never wear those cloths again.

I even danced with some gay men but its a weird story and I didnt put out.

Because I am very comfortable in who I am and my sexual preference.
