This post is exactly why we get shitty candidates and lose elections and will continue to get shitty candidates and lose elections for the foreseeable future. Outside of the potato that openly admitted to voting for Biden, we’re all generally aligned politically. If you want to treat people that agree with 95% of your views as “hostile” because they see 5% of things differently then go for it - you’ll definitely be the smartest person in the room when you’re the only one in it.

It’s worse than that. It’s not a 5% difference on opinion. The gap is actually much smaller. It’s a difference on whom is the best candidate to represent us on those topics we agree.

If you don’t buy into the cult of personality, stand behind obvious liars, bad candidates and follow the crowd then they lose their minds. They can’t see that their preferred candidates are going to be the ones keeping democrats in power. They ignore that this state elected Janet Napalitano governor for 6 years and act like AZ voting blue is only due to fraud.

Their feelings are crashing into reality and they can’t handle it. Should you dare to challenge their hypocrisy, they can’t accept it and refuse to face facts. They double down and scream all the louder.
