lol, You propose to "vote them out?"

Good luck with that. Your proposal is going to work out here just as well as it did in CA.

In my humble opinion, no amount of voting can set back the unconstitutional ills of the last 100 years.

So you're saying lay down in the second round cuz the first round didn't go well and you'll lose anyway.

Good thing you're only one vote...
Uhhh, nope, nope that was completely not what I said.

I'd rather have Bloomberg.

That pretty much says it all!
I voted for Trump in 2016, and will do the same in 2020. He will win in 2020. But his win doesn't fix anything, it's just a slow boil.

Like I said, you're not worth my time. The fact that you think "That pretty much says it all!" addresses anything I said proves you're too thick in the head to see what I meant.

You should add yourself to your ignore list, cause you don't think anything that should ever be said.

Spoke with someone from David Cook's office today and from what they have gathered. It is not likely that this bill will even get a hearing date. Also spoke with Eddie farnsworth's office and whoever is answering his phone is a complete soyboy, for lack of a better term. Thought I was talking to a woman, pissy, snippy, and very bitchy

From him personally, I've only seen anti-gun bills signed. He's put in conservative judges, but judge appointments aren't going to stop the mortal wounds we've already incurred as a country.

Hmmm, I'm sorry, but,... banning a "bump stock", which is a firearm industry accessory, hardly falls into the category of 2nd Amendment infringement, for me.

And, a law, applying penalties to government agencies for not reporting to the National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS),... doesn't quite meet my definition of infringements on my 2nd Amendment...PROTECTED... rights, either.

That's it?

Banning an accessory and penalizing government agencies for not doing their job?

These are all the "anti-gun bills" you got?

All gun control laws are unconstitutional, even gun control accessory laws...

Email from Bear Arms this morning.....
We do not like to get too political (publicly), but a bill proposing even worse legislation than what has recently passed in Virginia is being proposed in our Arizona Senate. SB 1625 would end gun sales, ownership and manufacturing in Arizona as we know it. These proposed restrictions and reclassification would actually have Arizona surpass California in terms of firearm restriction. Any long gun you own with a detachable magazine would become a restricted "Assault Weapon". That is just the beginning.
You can read the bill in it's unconstitutional entirety here https://legiscan.com/AZ/text/SB1625/2020
Arizona's 2A community is enormous, with a plethora of reputable businesses and manufacturers that have been operating within the law for decades.
Let these AZ Senate Democrats supporting SB 1625 know how you feel about reclassifying your personal property to turn law abiding citizens into felons.

More importantly, find the legislator in YOUR DISTRICT, Democrat or Republican, and let them know where you stand!

I must respectfully disagree,... The 2nd Amendment protects our Right to Keep and Bear Arms,... no mention of firearm paraphernalia having any direct connection to the operation of a "Arm".

The Founding Fathers were very aware of every word they used in the Constitution.

They didn't elaborate to impress, nor, did they eliminate due to ignorance of verbiage.

In other words,,... they didn't feel the need to identify every type of "ARM", as Demonscats have tried to do, for a process of elimination/confiscation! Nor, did they try to include every fashionable accessory, or a provision for such,... in the 2nd Amendment.

I truly believe, they felt that simply stating, in one sentence,... "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.",... was sufficient enough to secure a firearm for every citizen,... period.

Our Rights are CREATOR ENDOWED and UNALIENABLE,...words cleverly and specifically chosen,... imo.,... with no need to include the evolution of fashionable accessories to the Bill, to get the job done.

What happened to the cut n paster that was so full of fire on the 2nd? It doesnt fit you're trump sycophant narrative?

Trumps a buffoon, a capitalist and not a conservative. He will not default conservative, maybe a New York Republican....maybe, and not a next level evil genius. Hes a counter puncher and as long as the left is constantly attacking him he will tend to say phuck you in the most conservative way possible.

That's great for us. Shit that's fraking awesome.

Hes the single greatest nominator of conservative judges and justices in my life time and frankly that's enough to get my vote against any Democrat.

Dont for a minute think Trump is some great conservative thinker. That he will default originalist on every issue. Infact if the idiots on the left would have left him alone and focused on issues he would have completely phucked himself by now. Thank god for them.

Dont get me wrong, I voted for him, really against Hillary, last time and I'll vote for him again. Granted with much more enthusiasm. There are many reasons to do so but mark my words, not because hes some dependable conservative champion. Maybe after 4 more years we can revisit the issue. I'm open to considering it.

Oh, dont become a fraking fudd and think, or in one case become an irrelevant flip flopper, that bump stocks arent important. First, Weve given too much on the issue, second it's the principal that they can wave a magic wand and get rid of what ever they want.

Will it matter if they say no reloading or lever guns leverman? After all a certain cav unit found out they were assault weapons at one time. It's the old "when they came for me no one was left to support me" point.

Thus far no further. If you think otherwise you're as conservative as Donald Trump apparently

"A search of Arizona shows that 37% of the population are gunowners. Only 17,000 gun owners are AzCDL members. With a 2020 population of 7,378,494, in a perfect world there should be
2,730,042 gun owners actively participating in keeping their rights. 17,000 is a scary number.
It reminds me of the gunowners on the CA. website who would not join NRA or any other organization. Their attitude was there was no advantage to it. It was a ripoff. " quote from madjack on another site.
All of the gun owners NEED to join the Arizona Citizens Defense League.(AZCDL). They acutally help gunowners in Arizona. AZCDL has 2 volunteer lobbyists at state congress right now to let members know what is happening there. Please join. At the 2nd amendment rally this Saturday, online or at a gun show.

Emails are great but membership in AZCDL is better.

Remember Dems will do what they do. After they lose this one which they will because it is so draconian, they will come back with a "common sense compromise". They eliminate the broad, general definition of assault weapon and be specific to weapons "not used for hunting" ARs, AKs, and their variants.

Then they characterize all of us who don't agree as right wing radicals. Join AZCDL and get their membership to swell. The cost is the same as one box of ammo.

And a rally AFTER the fact in VA did nothing for changes already in play. Sure it was a wake up call but they needed to make noise before it happened.

Why is it that most of the sponsors have Mexican sounding names?????

In today's politically charged atmosphere, with blatant attempts to silent personal opinion/s,... I kind'a doubt you will get the answer you should,... or, would expect!

I simply will add this,... George Soros is pumping some bookoo bucks into Arizona, to promote One World Socialist / Progressivism, Anti-Constitutional Agendas,... for me, it simply boils down to, one and one equals...!!!

From AZCDL today

SB 1625 (assault weapons; magazines; prohibition; registration) was introduced in the Arizona State Senate on Wednesday, February 5 and assigned to the Judiciary Committee. The bill is designed to be an egregious threat to our Right to Keep and Bear Arms, and is similar to bills introduced across the nation. Promoted by the various astroturf groups under the umbrella of anti-rights billionaire Mike Bloomberg (e.g. Moms Demand Action, Everytown for Gun Safety, etc.), the bill would ban “assault weapons” and “large capacity” magazines. The language of the bill is so broad that nearly all semi-automatic firearms ever produced would be covered, as well as any ammunition feeding device “with the capacity to accept more than ten rounds”, which, again, means pretty much all of them.

We listed the bill on our Bill Tracking Page immediately, along with several others introduced by the same group of gun grabbers. These bills were also referenced in our recent “Legislative Update” Alert. However, in a demonstration of the power of social media, when a YouTube video appeared warning everyone of dire consequences should this bill see the light of day, the Internet lit up.

While we certainly appreciate the efforts of all members of the firearms community to call attention to truly awful bills such as this, it may have saved some time had folks reached out to us here at AzCDL to begin with. We’ve been tracking legislation here in Arizona for fifteen years now, and we have a pretty good read on what is and isn’t likely to move. And, as bad as this bill is, we knew from the start it was unlikely to be going anywhere.

However, to err on the side of caution, AzCDL has reached out to the Senate Leadership to clarify the status of this gun grabber’s wish list. Senate Majority Whip Sonny Borelli (R - LD 5) assured us that the bill has no future. He shared the following: ”I am adamantly opposed to the bill sponsored by Democrat Senator Rios from Legislative District 27. The Chairman (of Judiciary) assures me that the bill will not be heard in Committee.”

Though we are assured the bill will not move, we encourage everyone who values their rights to continue to contact the Senators who sponsored this abomination, especially if you live in one of their districts. Politely inform them of your position on it, and anti-rights bills in general. Many of these folks seem to believe that these kinds of bills have popular support. It’s up to us to prove them wrong.

SB 1625 is sponsored by:
Prime sponsor: Sen. Rios (D - Dist 27)
Other sponsors: Sen. Alston (D - Dist 24), Sen. Bradley (D - Dist 10), Sen. Contreras (D - Dist 19), Sen. Dalessandro (D - Dist 2), Sen. Gonzales (D - Dist 3), Sen. Mendez (D - Dist 26), Sen. Navarrete (D - Dist 30), Sen. Otondo (D - Dist 4), Sen. Peshlakai (D - Dist 7), Sen. Quezada (D - Dist 29), Sen. Steele (D - Dist 9)

Having a pro-rights majority matters, and here in Arizona, that majority is hanging by a thread. The next election is not far away, and the outcome could well mean the difference between bills like SB 1625 moving or not. As we’re fond of reminding people, “If you want better laws, elect better lawmakers”. Mike Bloomberg and his cronies will be spending heavily, here in Arizona and across the country, to get more anti-rights people, like those who sponsored this bill, into office. We must NOT let that happen. Sitting on the sidelines is simply not an option.

What’s been happening in Virginia and other states must be a lesson to us all. We can rush headlong down the road to tyranny, or we can maintain our status as “The best state for gun owners” into the foreseeable future.

The choice is yours.

I can't wait for anarchy. Please please please let it happen. I'm tired of hearing about what should or could or maybe or might. I want something to happen so we can move on to the next phase

There you go, the list of the demoncraps courtesy of AZCDL, that need a little sum n sum n in their in box. I mentioned the fact their time would be better spent trying to solve the lack of care for the mentally disturbed and drug abuse in the state.
