The left is winning by redefining the English language. Even the conservative media now use the liberal Newspeak term "protesters" for the college and university mobs that are engaged in disruptive activities. Protesting is one thing but when these campus troublemakers engage in activities like blocking roads and access to classrooms and other campus buildings, vandalism, and physical violence, these are criminal acts and they should be referred to as such. Protesters my ass. These are hooligans and thugs.
At the end of the day, what it comes down to is that American colleges and universities have become havens for the far left. The disruptive activities permitted on American college campuses are often condoned and sometimes even supported by the college administrators as "academic freedom." But "academic freedom" does not give one the right to interfere in the normal activities of other students and staff on campus.
