Wheres the best place on the Internet or maybe even this forum to get an approximate value of a used gun.

Gunbroker is good, for showing actual fair market value of guns. But to see the actual prices realized, in the completed auctions. You have to sign up as a member on Gunbroker. Or have somebody who is a member, check out the completed auctions for you.

Bluebookofgunvalues.com its worth getting a book the prices stay relatively the same for a few years or just do the online subscription.

gunbroker not too awful bad, but sometimes prices are inflated. mostly its what ever the local market will bring,
gun buyers and owners are some of teh cheapest folks in the world, not near as bad as bass fishermen though. lol

Auction site's actual sale records can be good,.... but, I made a living off of auctions, in my twenties, and learned that prices are almost always effected by the mind set of the seller and buyer. AKA, motivated seller, or, motivated buyer.

I use Buds Guns site. They seem to be the lowest price on the internet, so I don't get all flustered when I see the same piece for more, somewhere else. I use it as a base price for NEW pieces,... because, I always know I can get it at that price from them. Of course, transfer fee and taxes (sometimes) need to be realized, as well.
