.... "it appears that Kyle Rittenhouse was acting in self-defense".

Colion NO(-longer w/NRA)ir has an excellent blow-by-blow analysis of it.
Let's just say I hope all of that great video doesn't somehow disappear if
this kid gets railroaded all the way to trial.

No, he didn't ditch the NRA.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Colion_Noir#:~:text=In%202013%2C%20the%20National%20Rifle,at%20its%20convention%20in%20Houston.&text=As%20of%20July%202019%2C%20Noir,to%20a%20different%20advertising%20agency.

As of July 2019, Noir is no longer associated with the NRA since they changed to a different advertising agency.

He talked about it on the Joe Rogan podcast. He didn't leave the NRA. The NRA just simply stopped calling.

The NRA keeps taking on more and more water, how long until it sinks?

We should all be members of the top no compromise pro-gun organization, GOA.

The top no compromise organization that has done virtually nothing but enrich its owners.

No, we need the clout of the NRA, we just need to get rid of the dead wood.

And with respect to the OP, I'd be willing to bet the NRA has its lawyers looking at the audio and video of Kyle and the whole shooting before making a statement. It's what I'd do.

I am a member of the GOA, hope springs eternal they say.

We do need the NRA but like the man said there is lots of dead wood. As in cut the board down to 20 people max, dump most of the management , way too top heavy and of course the WLP needs to go.

I think that the NRA should do nothing for the kid right now, most things seem to be covered and he seems to be doing well at this point.

Jaeger isn’t wrong.

I see very little action from the NRA. All I see is social media posts with campaign slogan-like captions talking about how 2A is a right and we should not compromise.... all while endlessly compromising and telling people they need more memberships and money.

Just another example, in a long line of examples, as to why the NRA does not truly support the 2A.

They are only in it for the membership $$$.

Whew, I was gettin' worried this thread was going to go full on NRA is awesome.

Let's face it the NRA is a shadow of it's former self and until, at least, WLP is gone I don't see that changing much.

While over at GOA they're getting the job done protecting our 2A Rights with, unlike the NRA, No Compromise.

"This prompted one high ranking office to tell us that gun control would have become a “done deal” where it not for GOA activists."

I don't hate the NRA.

I dislike what it has become.

It's time for a house cleaning.

Agreed
