Gun Movement

Welcome to ArizonaShooting.org!

Hopefully this will help us in the long run. Now that is blatantly obvious that guns aren’t just for law enforcement and military.

I really hope the lessons from this crazy time are carried forward and the gun control movement takes a far back seat.

Yeah but it's just a matter of time before one of those unhinged guns loses it's shit and goes on a killing spree and then move over Covid-19 or whatever narrative they are pushing at the time.

As long as there is a crisis to exploit, the Demonscats will be there!

And,... with life having an endless supply of crises, the Demonscat manipulated propaganda will be endless as well!

So Backpage is still around....sort of: https://backpagegun.com/firearms/phoenix?items_per_page=100

This likely wont change people. They will still vote for the politicians who want to take our guns and rights.

Hey Dace,... just a friendly FYI,... guns can be "taken", but, Rights can not.

Rights can be infringed upon,... but never taken.

I know that sounds like semantics, but, I believe word choice does matter in today's political atmosphere, more than ever before,... imo.

Keep reading about the long lines of people at the gun stores, the lack of ammo on the shelves, the tremendous number of applications being submitted......but......I don't see a big movement of guns off of this site. What do you think the reason for that is?

I do not think the people here have to panic buy. If you have to buy now, you are a day late and a dollar short.

Apparently Backpage hasn't changed much... People still wanting a veritable fortune for anything and everything.

No thanks.

It seems local gun stores definitely have taken a toll on order volume. I know a lot of main stream sites like buds gunshop and palmetto have major backlog for ffl items.

"Why are the newbies not buying off the Internet usin all the loopholes?" /sarcasm off
Maybe now they will learn?

I liked Backpage back in the day, but soured on the whole selling guns to individuals thing when I had to go to a police department a couple of times to look at police line ups due to a prohibited possessor being caught with a gun I had sold. Now I just keep everything I buy...
I have recently been getting questions from non-gun people over the past month about what gun they should buy and while I find it refreshing, I'm afraid it wont be enough to pull them away from the brainwashed voting patterns they have been indoctrinated to follow. We can hope though.

I have very mixed feelings about all of the new gun owners out there. On one hand, I think they could grow to love shooting and legitimately reverse any existing anti-gun ideology. On the other hand, many of them are people that feel threatened and are panic buying out of fear. Coming from a mindset of fear, I think they could be more of a danger to themselves and others. Plus, I doubt most of them have any gun safety training.

Hmmm,... really!!!

I wonder what the percentage of gun owners, who bought their first firearm, for protecting themselves or family,... out of real fear of a dangerous threat!!!

When the founding fathers legislated the Bill of Rights,... to protect our Creator Endowed Inalienable Human Rights,... including the Rights to "LIFE", liberty and the pursuit of happiness,... I don'y remember them including any required qualifications, or hoops to jump through, to possess a tool of self defense!

Be careful where you set your red lines, to possess!

Someone, someday, just may set the goal so high even you won't be able to qualify!!!

I am by no means suggesting "a red line" to possess. I think all of those people should be able to purchase a firearm as they are, so please don't misunderstand me there.

I am concerned about people in fear. Everyone knows that a cornered animal is most dangerous, and my hypothesis is that many of these people feel cornered whether they are or not in reality. Fear does strange things to people and it distorts their ability to think clearly.

I welcome all of the new gun ownership, but I hope that they can learn to use their new firearm safely. Hell, if I knew anyone that was in the new gun owner camp, I would personally like to take them out shooting and help them get up to speed learning the basics for starters.

Well, from your post'S,... I definitely get the feeling you are making blanket judgments without any FACTS! Which sounds a lot like a few demonscats, I know.

If anyone tells you they feel NO FEAR when defending themselves with a firearm,... they are either a liar, a psychopath, or a sociopath!!
