Keep reading about the long lines of people at the gun stores, the lack of ammo on the shelves, the tremendous number of applications being submitted......but......I don't see a big movement of guns off of this site. What do you think the reason for that is?

Gun people are not panic buying. Most of the people buying right now are new gun owners, many of which are buying because the are scared. Many people are finally realizing they must be responsible for their own safety.
Yup, non-gun people thinking the gun store is the main place to get stuff. Even Gunbroker isn't seeing the crazy spike in prices and traffic that the stores are seeing. Hope these newbies wash out their headgear after this and stop voting for anti-gun Democraps
i have a friend in california asking me where I buy my guns... he wanted to buy one now 
. I just asked him this afternoon if he has bought one, he said, air gun for now as he is learning the process of registration etc... hahahahahaha. They have now resorted to bartering stuff with neighbors, that's why I think he want to buy gun to protect his house and stuff...

As for the newbies buying guns, watch for new members on this and other sites as they get desperate to find guns and ammo. You will recognize them by the way they also bring their leftist speak. They might change the way they feel about guns (and I do mean "might") but their goofy socialist ideas will still be there.

Had 2 neighbors who never thought of buying a gun before ask me where the should buy a gun a what type should they get for home defense. So you guys are correct newbies are really worried about protecting themselves and family.

I stopped by AJI a few times to to see the show and sell some stuff to Josh. The overwhelming majority of customers I saw were all new people. Had to be shown how the gun functioned, etc. Nice to see his staff advocating to everyone buying who was new to go get training.

I am just laughing watching all the snowflakes rushing the gun stores, it is amazing how quick their view of firearms has changed......its like they are just realizing how things are in real life vs fantasy land.
