Gov. Doug Ducey lifts Arizona COVID mandates, including local mask rules

Went to Scottsdale Gun Club this morning. When I checked in, the guy at the desk said, "Haven't you heard? You don't have to wear a mask!" I immediately took mine off, and looked around and noticed that everybody in the place was maskless -- and smiling. Nice to be able to see people smiling.
However, went to KO's next door for lunch, and they were still doing the Mask Theatre. Well, maybe eventually they will get the word.

Already beginning to see people take them off after entering the stores.
Was at Walmart last night, and as I was in line at the checkout, the elderly couple in front of me had no masks. Don't know if they walked in without them or took them off inside at some point. But figured if it was good enough for them, good enough for me, so I removed mine too. I figure doing so as I was checking out would be good because, even if somebody said something, what are they gonna do? Have me leave?
The non-compliance is spreading, finally. Thank God.

The City of Tucson's ordinance requiring the use of face masks continues to be in place.
The ordinance states that every person in the City of Tucson over the age of five (5) is required to cover their nose and mouth with a face covering when in a public setting where continuous physical distancing is difficult or impossible.
Adults accompanying minor children who are five (5) years of age or older shall use reasonable efforts to have children to wear face coverings when they are in a public setting.
Businesses whose employees interact with the public must require employees to wear face coverings.
This requirement is put in place by the Mayor and Council as Ordinance Number 11767 and under the City's Charter authority, granted by the Arizona Constitution.

The order says local governments can’t make any regulations pertaining to the COVID-19 pandemic and specifically mentions face masks mandates.

Thursday’s order also rescinds a handful of previous executive orders issued by Ducey during the pandemic.
Ducey never ordered a statewide mask mandate. In June 2020, he gave local jurisdictions authority over the issue. Most of the state wound up with mask mandates, but those remaining can no longer be enforced under Thursday’s order..

I've been doing this for months.
I will do as I please.
If a karen or a concerned store employee want to get froggy I will be happy to oblige them.

They can simply ask me to leave due to trespassing and I will do that as well.
Once this happens I will not spend a dime again at any place that does that to me.

Movie few years called "Their Will Be Blood" coming soon to mask mandated business when the two sides clash. Me I am old and sick already so just watching the show for now, month or 6 weeks that will end all mask questions. Fake news everything is rocking come 4th july, mask work but were ignored or fake news soon we will know.
Still have to wear them for public transport - airport, train stations, bus stations per existing federal mandate. Pain in the ass much like the patchwork concealed carry laws and reciprocity. Hard to know when/wear it's okay!
Went to total Wine and they demand you still wear masks in spite of Ducey's lifting the mandate.
So I told them to go pound sand and sent a complaint to their corporate headquarters. Probably won't hear back, but at least I had a good time sending it.
