In his endorsement of Dr. Kelli Ward, conservative Rep. Paul Gosar did not mince words about his colleague and Ward’s opponent Rep. Martha McSally. Gosar is the first member of Arizona’s Congressional delegation to endorse in the state’s upcoming U.S. Senate race.

“In my time working with Martha, I found her, though likable personally, to be very inconsistent politically. None of us can count on Martha keeping a campaign promise as she will fall for whatever the D.C. elite tells her to do at the time. I have seen that firsthand,” said Gosar in his endorsement of Ward.

Good, McSally is just another McFlake wanna be rhino and this is a rare chance to finally get someone in that isn't just a leftist in a thinly veiled disguise.

I just hope Arpiao doesn't spoil it for us by pulling low info conservative votes away from Ward.

Makes one wonder if he's an establishment plant.
He's 86 now and would be 92 in six years (if he makes it) then we're right back here.

He is just a megalomaniac that has to be in control of something/someone.

I have the same feeling, he does not seem too motivated, I have not seen much info on him. Now I have not been paying too much attention to the campaigns yet.

I gather you are a fairly new resident of Arizona ?

Spoke to someone this weekend that knows Joe pretty well. He says Joe is already losing it. Joe remembers years ago but has trouble with yesterday and last week. Perhaps that's affecting his motivation.

Actually, one of the few natives, I have met Joe a couple of times and even have a couple a autographed pink Tent City boxers.
He has always been very energetic and focused on the issues. He just does not seem himself. IMHO.

I've also met him a couple of times, am not a new Resident at all and while I liked him as a person there's no way I'm going to vote for him.

Sorry about that - Its just you made a couple of statements about sheriff joe, that seemed odd. I'm not a native, but close (Moved here in 1972 First visit in 1960). Probably my problem. Note I have voted for Arprio every time when he was running for Sheriff. He always did stuff, that I wanted and did try to support the rule of law, but he loves his name in lights.

I always liked Joe as sheriff, I was glad to see him after the illegals as much as he was. I call BS on the money that was spent in what I call frivolous lawsuits by the left for the man following the law in my opinion. Yeah maybe he pushed it too far but it should have never gone that far in the first place.

I trust McSally over Ward any day because of her service to the country and actually being in combat as opposed to other women getting high rank at a desk job or just a desk job in the military. Doesn't hurt she aligns with Trump also.

I could be wrong but I thought I read where Ward used to be a Dem.

She is a John McCain clone. You will be able to trust her for "her service to the country and actually being in combat" the same way you could trust lying, run as a conservative vote as a liberal John McCain.

Instead of trusting what what she says while running for office, you should have taken a little time to research how she actually votes in congress. Then maybe you would get why she is called Martha McCain.

It's too late now to do any good, but here's some help:

I also considered the "beat Sinema factor". I don't think ward would have a chance to beat Sinema but I believe McSally will. I would rather have a Republican in there over a Democrat any day. I believe McSally can be "guided" to work for the Republicans like she should. No chance of that with Sinema. Since Trumps election more voters are getting involved in politics in a serious manner. I think enough pressure can be put on McSally to make an actual constituent politician. I have to believe that over just saying "Well Ward won't win so I won't vote".

I did that with Trump and look what happened. I didn't think Trump stood a chance so I didn't vote, my mistake. Personally I don't like the man but I believed he was the man for the job being a business man. This country needs to be run like a business not a personal piggy bank for the rich through the politicians. I'm in the game to stay now.

You also have to take into account Cindy Hensley being McShames wife. Look at what he did to his first wife for a hot chick backed by money. She and her rich family had an incredible influence on McShame and he never had the balls being a military brat screw up to stand up to them and their money. McSally doesn't have that rich influence as family to guide her. McSally won't have the strong RINO backers that McShame had either, Cindy's family had a lot to do with that I'm sure.

Follow link and read, such as:

"The third well-known candidate in the race is Rep. Martha McSally, a liberal Republican who represents a Democratic leaning district in Arizona. The Arizona Daily Independent reports that John McCain is pushing her candidacy."

That is the problem with Republicans.
They will say " I don't like so and so because they voted on such and such bill against what I believe and the other so and so doesn't have a chance so I won't vote for either. "
Unlike the democrats who will vote for whoever is put up no matter how they believe or what they vote for.
Voting for a Republican is better than any democrat and not voting is just throwing your vote for the democrats.
This coming up election is one of the most important elections in recent history and and if you are a true American you can not let it fall to the democrats.

Agreed. It's just a lot better to be able to vote for a true Republican rather than a RINO like Martha 'McCain' McSally who will disappoint us on many future votes.
