I always carry at least a tourniquet.

A tourniquet- CAT or SOF-T, take your pick- and an Israeli bandage are the minimum, in my opinion.

This plus a quick clot gause are my minimum.
I have those 3 items in all vehicles (except work truck). Also have a Gen 3 DARK Kit (the current name is MIL Vent for what I have) for use on the range and another in my work truck.

They are not the cheapest, but if you need to use the items they replace them.

I took a DARK Angel training class a couple years ago and would recommend it to somebody wanting entry level trauma training. Again not cheap, but if you can save a friend/family members life with the knowledge what is that worth to you?
