I purchased a new extended slide lock lever for my Glock 19.
All the videos I can find on how to replace the old with the new one shows that you have to depress a leave spring to release the old one to fall out. My Glock 19, Gen 5, does not have a leave spring. I see a couple of very small springs below the factory slide lock lever but nothing I see to depress to release the old one. Anyone know how to do this?

Clyde,
That's the video I was looking for. As usual, thanks for your help, even if you were, just a little bit, hardly worth mentioning, but oh so obvious to those who love you and read your posts---sarcastic. Ha ha.

It's not friggin' rocket science to change that thing. Maybe, just maybe, do some more research and find out exactly what you need to do. Could be you don't know enough about firearms to be doing those things, you think.

Could be you're a pri#k, but hey, everyone who reads your posts already knows that. Let's stop calling each other names and just stop responding to each others posts. That would make me happy, how about you smiley.

Well, being as you just called me a prick. But, It's the truth, and the people who think I am are just idiots mostly, not that you're an exception to that rule.

I'm at least capable of taking a Glock down to nothing and put it back together with little difficulty.

Posting the link here for others to see including the OP is helpful for the forum as a whole., Maybe Op could have found it easy too I dunno but the next time someone is looking for this question it might be easier to find here then in the depths of youtube. This is why I like forums like these, having a history of threads to search for discussions about certain issues but it kinda kills the mood with the back and forth bickering about who can take a glock apart dont ya think?

Almost as annoying as people deleting the details in "for sale" post after it sold. That is some of the dumbest chit ever.
