You know,...it depends on what you are looking for. I have found there to be a distinct difference in the types of guns one sees at the gun shows in metro areas vs. the ones you see at the smaller shows in more rural settings.
If you're looking for handguns or AKs or ARs or combat shotguns, those are more likely to turn up at a gun show in Phoenix or Tucson, even Prescott or Yuma. But I've encountered a higher ratio of hunting and sporting long guns at shows like the ones in Williams and Payson and Show Low. I also tend to find more estate sale type stuff at the rural shows, like bullet casting stuff or reloading stuff or older gear from the 60s and 70s. A lot of people leave the metro areas and move out to the country when they retire, and that's why you see this stuff.
