The Pharmacy Lobby at the Phoenix VA Health Care System will be CLOSED starting Wednesday, March 25 until further notice. This change is to reduce potential patient and employee exposure to COVID-19 and influenza.
In addition to using MyHealtheVet, refills/renewals can also be requested using the automated refill line (602-222-6598). For items that require labs, the provider reviews labs before the order is placed. Once placed, it can be mailed, or if urgent they can use the drive through.
Any new prescriptions that can wait 24 hours can be sent next day delivery through the mail and will be submitted by the provider to the Pharmacy.
For items that cannot wait 24 hours, we will have a drive-through pharmacy that will be open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. (starting tomorrow, Wednesday, March 25). This option should be saved for truly urgent needs only. To find the drive-through pharmacy, enter the Carl T. Hayden VA Medical Center campus through the Indian School Road or 3rd Street entrance and follow signs to “Drive-Through Pharmacy.”
