Is it just me or does it seem to you that women like her and Kari Lake, have more balls than the men they work with?
 
They must have pushed her into a hard corner. I mean for one .. she has been doing this since 2012 and they had her in an alley with some dude in the heat talking about air conditioners. I imagine that is not a choice assignment and usually relegated to newbies making bones.

She probably knew she was about to be cut so .. what the hey.

It would be nice if people like this and the Woman that left the times and the MANY MANY more like them could find an area to form up. real investigative journalism has gone the way of the doodoo bird and I am sure they all thought they would be the secret finders when they were dreaming of their career in highschool and then they are put in a box with a script.

Yeah I am going to follow up on veritas I gotta know what she felt burning her journalism jobs to the ground was worth. Bold was to say you can take this job and shove it.
 
She seems to think she has something important to share with the citizens, too bad more folks don't feel this way, perhaps the dark side would not be so dark if they knew some would lighten it up

I'm pretty sure she knew her end was nigh so she figured .... Light the engines I'm going out in a blaze of glory. More power to her. Hard to recover when it's all you've done but if it's going to end anyway fight the fight.

Fox 26 reporter Ivory Hecker was suspended today, after announcing live on-air that she had decided to come to Project Veritas for what she described as pure “corruption” at the Houston affiliate – She said the station’s actions are an affront to real journalism and claimed leadership prioritizes corporate interests over the viewer.

Hecker obtained recordings of her superiors telling her to prioritize the opinion of the station’s General Manager, and the company’s CEO, above that of the audience.

Hecker: “What’s happening within Fox Corp is an operation of prioritizing corporate interests above the viewer's interest and, therefore, operating in a deceptive way.”

She also obtained audio of Fox 26’s VP and News Director, Susan Schiller, telling Hecker to “cease and desist” posting about Hydroxychloroquine on social media.

Hecker interviewed Dr. Joseph Varon, MD, Chief of Critical Care and COVID-19 Unit at United Memorial Medical Center in Houston, who told her of his success using Hydroxychloroquine on certain patients.

Hecker: “The viewers are being deceived by a carefully crafted narrative in some stories.”

Things turned racial behind the scenes, according to Hecker, who recorded her superior, Lee Meier, as they judged the newsworthiness of a story based on specific demographics -- on one occasion, a Fox 26 executive said that a “poor African-American audience” wouldn’t care about Bitcoin stories.

Hecker said the decision to shy away from these topics was not made in the interest of the public good, but rather, in line with the leadership of Fox Corp and Fox’s advertisers -- one of which is the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Hecker: "There's a narrative. Yes, it is unspoken. But if you accidentally step outside the narrative, if you don't sense what that narrative is and go with it, there will be grave consequences for you.”

Hecker: “Fox came at my throat for standing up against censorship.”

Hecker had a call with Fox 26 earlier today in which she was asked to return her reporting equipment to the station.

Ivory's mother Renee has set up a crowdfunding support page for her daughter at the Christian website GiveSendGo.com

Fox 26 Houston has responded through a company spokesperson: "FOX 26 adheres to the highest editorial standards of accuracy and impartiality. This incident involves nothing more than a disgruntled former employee seeking publicity by promoting a false narrative produced through selective editing and misrepresentation."

It wasn't anything mind-blowing. She basically just told us what we already knew about how the news works. It seems like she should have had her narrative better thought out for that interview. Instead of just talking about the viewers being lied to, she should have been bringing up why that's so bad and what the consequences can be.

In the case of that one Hydroxychloroquine story that she referred to, she should have brought up how it's been safe to use for decades and is sold across the counter in most countries around the world, and how allowing the story to get buried may have cost 100,000 lives this past year as some journalists are finally reporting. Or how the media buried stories about Hunter Biden's laptop before the election which polls show would have swung the election in Trump's favor if it had been widely reported on at the time.

I hope it was worth it for her.
 
Since this is Houston, don't be surprised to see her employed with the GLenn Beck organization soon. Dallas is only a day's drive north........ :shock:

CBS 62 Insider April Moss Becomes SECOND Reporter to be TERMINATED for Blowing Whistle on Her Own Network Alleging Corporate Corruption – ‘I See The Whole World Hurting… I Had No Other Choice’

CBS 62 Detroit Meteorologist and Multimedia Journalist, April Moss, went public with Project Veritas this week to discuss behind-the-scenes information about network practices regarding the COVID-19 vaccine, editorial double standards and how corporate interests have negatively impacted the public.

She was officially fired from the station this week following her sit down with PV -- CBS provided Veritas with a statement saying her claims are “completely false” and Moss “is no longer with our station.” The full CBS 62 statement can be found below.

Moss: “I’m watching my country disintegrate and if I don’t stand up and do something when I’m able to, I just don’t know that I could live with myself… No longer is true journalism being executed anymore… It is one of the greatest crimes really in history right now. Because if we are shaping the American public’s mind, then we need to be seeking truth.”

This marks the second journalist in as many weeks to step out of the shadows, detailing how media outlets are covering the Coronavirus vaccine – along with the many hidden interests at play behind closed doors.

Ivory Hecker, a former Fox 26 reporter, spoke with Veritas last week about how certain COVID-related stories were buried to favor advertisers and satisfy the opinion of the station’s general manager -- and the network CEO -- rather than be transparent with the audience. She too, was terminated from her post.

Hecker was on set to support Moss as she bravely followed in her footsteps.

Moss, a wife and mother of four, has worked at CBS 62 for almost a decade and said the corporate arm in New York has been driving decision making without regard for journalistic ethics, or general concern for the public’s right to be informed.

Moss claimed in her interview with Project Veritas CEO, James O’Keefe, that the station was pressuring employees who opted not to get the vaccine into changing their minds through company-wide messages and emails. She called it a “human rights issue.”

The idea of “vaccine hesitancy” – a phrase mentioned in a recent Project Veritas story about Facebook’s internal practices regarding censorship – also showed up in CBS emails, according to Moss.

She accused CBS of abusing the “power of all of [the] Viacom/CBS brand” to legitimize the COVID-19 vaccine. The veteran journalist added that she is not seeking fame or fortune by coming forward. “It’s not about me … this is not easy,” she told O’Keefe.

“I see the whole world hurting,” Moss concluded. “I had no other choice.”
