Who do you put as the manufacturer? Doing the Eform, gets hung up there. Doesn't accept "self", a variation of my name, etc...

Help..

IIRC, you use FMI. I honestly don't remember what that stands for.

It should be detailed out in this thread:

7"ish one for 22. Probably use one of the Jmpf kits to build from. All the parts would be around $150. I can do the machining with the tools at work. Unless there are better options than that.

It's the caliber I really want to shot NOW.

When all my normal stamps clear I'll have a Saker762, Octane45, Ghost-M, and a Mask. So, I'll have a decent balance of "real" ones. Rifle, 2 pistol, and a rimfire. I can use one of the rimfire cans on a rifle and the other on a pistol.

They must be feeling the holiday spirit. Got my control number emailed to me at 9:16pm on a SUNDAY night..

What?!

Approved!! 12-14

5:02am AZ time too. Somebody on the east coast didn't even wait to get a gallon of coffee down before they got to work.

Speaking of, looks like it's my turn to get to it...

Are there other options as far as "kits" for this? I'd mentioned the JMPF before, just wondering if I could/should look other places?

You finish the first one? Or decide what to do with it yet?
I haven't really kept up on F1 suppressor stuff.

Gonna work with solvent trap kit stuff..

When filling out the paper work you really aren't nailing yourslf down too speifically on the details of the build. You have to pick a length, and caliber. But, "multi" is an option, and from what I've read you just can't make it longer than what than you state.

Even if I spend more on one of these than a "bought" can, it'll have it WAY sooner.

Also, I got my controll number back immediately. With my other eF1s it has taken several days. This will allow me to get the wait started a few days earlier.

Now that it's been a few months and you've had some time to test, I was just wondering if we could get an update on your build, the kit you used, how it all held up, cleaning, etc. Is it something you'd do again, changes you would make on the next one, etc?

Thank you!
Joe

I've only really had the chance to shoot them on the pistol at the range. I bought the tubes and caps from Diversified Machine, then sent them (and paper work) off to Rusty to have it cored. That was a bit more expensive than I had intended when I started this... I only have a few hundred rounds through it so far, so it isn't in need of cleaning. Would I do it again? Yes, I'm in the process of doing something similar in 9mm for a PCC. This one is a bit different, mono-core (cheap) vs clipped cups (expensive). Minus paperwork, I'll be in this one about half of the others..$250 Still DM tubes and caps. When it's finished, I'll put up some pics.

It's been a while since the last post on this. So how smooth/fast did the paperwork go through on these form 1s, specifically the solvent trap , fuel filter devices?
Also the fuel filter ones, how do they work with say 9mm or .223? Are some wimpy and what do you look for on the sturdy ones?
Yea I know... too many questions

Pretty pumped. Filed my form 1 today. I’m thinking about going with quietcore for the kit. A lot of what I’ve been reading on this forum has been helpful for filling out the form 1, and research needed before I place my order.

DMeacham
I looked up Quiet core. I couldn't find something for a firearm. Just sound deadening material and motorcycle exhaust. Is there a website for this?
